Global Day of Faith at Work (GDFW) is a worldwide event held annually on May 1st, which is also observed as International Labor Day. The first GDFW, on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, also coincides with the National Day of Prayer in the United States. The primary purpose of the GDFW is to pray together for effective workplace ministry in every workplace, community, and nation. The event will feature a global prayer celebration from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in each time zone, or at alternate convenient times on May 1. The theme, Work as Worship, will emphasize how everyday tasks and workplace roles are an opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission. Participating businesses, churches, ministries, seminaries, and organizations are encouraged to hold local services to commission their members, equipping them to be missional disciples in their workplace. The GDFW aims to bring together the global Christian community to celebrate, commission, and integrate faith into the workplace, encouraging believers to live out their calling in and through the workplace. Notably, GDFW was announced at the Fourth Lausanne Congress in Seoul-Incheon on September 26, 2024, sponsored by the Lausanne Workplace Network and the World Evangelical Alliance.
The core mission of the 3Q Leadership Institute www.3qleader.com is to bring the glory of God into the marketplace!  We equip and empower Christians in the workplace by providing cutting-edge discipleship training programs, enabling them to live out their faith and fulfill God’s calling in their lives through their professional roles.  We conduct research and develop innovative marketplace evangelism platforms — including corporate chaplaincy programs, micro church planting, and entrepreneurial church planting — to help churches and Christian businesses effectively share the gospel and fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

The mission of the Ambassadors for Christ, Inc., 基督使者協會, www.afcinc.org, is to mobilize and equip Chinese churches in North America to win over the Chinese intellectuals of this generation for Christ. Our strategies include campus ministry, disciple training, literature ministry, and mission mobilization, collaboratively leading Chinese international students, scholars, young professionals, and young families from all places to the Lord, equipping them to become disciples of Christ, nurturing them into leaders, encouraging them to build churches, and challenging them to integrate their faith into culture, becoming a vital force for the Kingdom of God.

Bakke Graduate University (BGU) www.bgu.edu was formed as an initiative of the Lausanne Urban Associates in the early 2000s. After focus groups with Lausanne leaders, it was decided that BGU should respond to God’s work in the world by having three colleges of urban studies, Christian theology and business. This was in response to seeing massive migration to global cities, and world maps being redrawn around economics and global business. These global movements needed fresh theological, biblical and practical insight for leaders in these sectors. Since 2004, BGU has conducted MBA programs as well as certificate programs on various aspects of theology of work for 80,000 people in over 40 nations.

Business as Mission Global bamglobal.org is dedicated to building and resourcing the global business as mission (BAM) network in order to shape business for the gospel, God’s glory, the common good. The world of commerce holds an immense, untapped potential to do good in the world – a power designed by God. Yet, Christian entrepreneurs often lack affirmation in their calling. We empower Christian businesswomen and businessmen to grasp God’s redemptive plan at work through enterprise. We’re dedicated to reshaping the narrative they hear, affirming their God-given call and igniting their passion for action. Business is an essential strategy for global mission today. We’re championing the power of business to respond to the world’s most pressing needs and take the gospel to all nations. BAM Global is the Business as Mission Issue Network of the Lausanne Movement.

CBMC International www.cbmcint.com has been at the forefront of the Faith at Work movement, equipping men and women to live out their Christian faith in their professional lives. But let’s be clear—our focus is not the marketplace. Our focus is Jesus Christ. The marketplace is simply the mission field where He has called us to labor. We believe work is a sacred calling where believers are to embody Christ with boldness, integrity, and purpose. Each day presents an opportunity to be His ambassadors—bringing the hope of the Great Commission to life in every sphere of influence.   Through “Paul and Timothy” life-on-life discipleship, CBMC fosters radical transformation—leading to changed lives, homes, businesses, and even nations. Our Connect Teams, Young Professional Groups, and Trusted Advisor Forums cultivate Christ-centered networks of men and women who encourage one another in spiritual maturity, accountability, and a deeper integration of faith and work.  At CBMC International, we boldly envision a future where the Gospel permeates the global marketplace, forming thriving Christian communities in every sector. As God moves through this ministry, we stand firm—advancing His kingdom at all costs—because we believe the marketplace is one of the most strategic arenas for His work today.
